Semper Paratus Challenges
Are you up for the challenge? “Semper Paratus” means Always Ready and is the official motto of the United States Coast Guard. This Challenge invites athletes to push themselves even harder by completing not one, but two of the Coast Guard Marathon races in one weekend!
Semper Paratus Challenge runners will receive a special coin, and special gift for completing the challenge and, of course, bragging rights! Warm up with the 5K on Saturday, and then hit the pavement to complete the challenge on Sunday, with your choice of the half or full marathon.
Jr. Semper Paratus Challenge runners (12 years and younger) will receive a special coin, special gift, and bragging rights! Challengers will finish the 5k, and then complete the 1K Fun Run.
For completing the challenge you’ll receive a Coast Guard Marathon shirt, medal for both completed races, commemorative challenge coin, and a special gift.

March 22, 2026 – Registration is C L O S E D for the full, half and Semper Paratus Challenges due to necessary USCG background checks.

Think you’ve got what it takes to conquer the 13.1 Semper Paratus Challenge? Only 150 will earn the title.

Junior Semper Paratus Challenge
Bravery starts young! Only 50 young challengers can join the Junior Semper Paratus Challenge. Lace up, enjoy the adventure, and show what you’re made of!
